Private Gyrotonic and Gyrokinesis sessions
Sessions are typically an hour, working one-on-one with a highly experienced specialized master trainer. Individual attention means the session follows the specific needs of the client on any given day, whether it be for overall well-being, improved physical abilities, increased strength and ease in the body or rehabilitation of an injury. The practitioner will benefit from the trainer’s hands-on and specific cues that are most helpful for them.
Gyrotonic and Gyrokinesis Duet sessions
Though there is less individual attention for each participant, there is a wonderful joy in moving and breathing along with another person. Both people should be of similar experience levels and be able to adjust the equipment. Initial sessions will include learning to adjust the equipment and understanding terminology and instruction without hands-on.
Gyrokinesis Classes
Group classes are a wonderful way to increase understanding of the Gyrotonic methodology overall. Classes include movements on stools, standing and on the floor, using the same principles as the equipment work, but the practitioner now has to support themselves. The feeling of moving in synchrony with a group makes this an fun and invigorating experience. Finding the rhythm with breath and continuous motions in a group environment is enjoyable and it doesn’t feel like “exercise”. Before you know it, you feel great.
Zoom classes
These can be group, duet, or individual. Generally, they are Gyrokinesis classes, unless all participants have access to their own equipment.
